Brian Ellis

Attorney

Brian Ellis is an attorney with the California bicycle accident lawyer team at ebcyclinglaw who represents cyclists throughout the United States for bicycle accidents and the injuries cyclists suffer as a result. Brian began his career as an injury attorney in 2007 working for a large insurance company defending injury cases. He was thrown right into the work as an injury attorney, handling serious injury and wrongful death cases on a major case team for the insurance company. The sheer volume of cases and workload in the focused area of injury cases proved invaluable for the start of a legal career in injury law.

Brian quickly learned the industry from the insurance company and defense angle. He absorbed the knowledge, the strategies of the insurance company and what it took to maximize case value in the mind of an insurance company and the insurance claim’s adjusters.  In 2011, Brian made a career change and began his practice as a Plaintiff’s attorney, representing injured clients on the other side of an injury case. He has never looked back.

An Advocate for Injured Cyclists

Since 2011, Brian has been successfully representing injured cyclists. Having undergone three spinal surgeries amongst numerous other orthopedic surgeries due to prior sports injuries, Brian personally understands the serious nature of the injuries and pain a cyclist can and will experience following a cycling injury. Having previously experienced what his clients go through after a cycling injury helps Brian to be passionate in his fight for each of his cases and clients.

Currently, Brian represents cyclists in cases resulting from vehicle accidents, roadway design issues, product defects, and roadway obstructions.  Through working a large variety of cases from start to finish, Brian fully understands the injury legal case as it unfolds and how to best navigate the medical treatment, insurance communication, lawsuit and settlement phases that arise when serious cycling accidents occur.
